When I worked on my latest NFT I was experimenting a bit more than usual. And I was very happy with the result. The new art is not 100% true to the original, but at the same time, I like it very much. So much that I wish to do the same thing with all the other NFTs. I don't want to sell this as extra material, but instead, I will generate a second version and give it away for free to the original buyers (also to the ones who already bought it).
This way owners will have 2 versions, one that is true to the original specimen and one more experimental version.
I thought of just leaving a link here on my page, but I see several advantages for the owner to get the second version as a free airdrop NFT. One of the advantages is in case you want to put up a digital gallery. Then you will be able to choose if you want to display the original version or the experimental version. You will also have the possibility to sell only one of them in case there is one of them you like better.
Changing 2 NFTs
As a consequence of this, I have changed two of my NFTs back to a more neutral version. This is eCryptonite #010 Tourmaline & Lepidolite and #021 Gold. None of them are sold yet, so it has no consequences.
Universion
The experimental version is adding effects from the universe, so I choose to call this version Universion. These NFTs will not be sold. They will be air-dropped to the original owners/buyers of the original version.
