Description

The model used is a fantastic combination of Topaz and Smoky Quartz from Skardu, Gilgit-Baltistan, Pakistan.

The size of the specimen is 145x99x103 mm (1891 grams).
I bought this one back in 2014.

The topaz cyrstal is translucent, with fantastic gem quality (no inner cracks) and light champagne colored. It is surrounded by big double terminated damage-fee Smokey Quartz crystals. The combination makes it a uniqe specimen.

Skardu District is located in Gilgit−Baltistan, Pakistan, and Skardu city is located at an elevation of nearly 2,500 metres in the Skardu Valley, at the confluence of the Indus and Shigar Rivers. It is surrounded by big mountains, that are also rich of interessting minerals.
